Mumbai, Nov 27: The benchmark index of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Tuesday slipped by 90 points to 35,264.19 in early trade as investors were seen cautious after US President Donald Trump said he was likely to go ahead with a tariff hike on Chinese goods.
The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) too dropped by 32 points to 10,596.35. The sensex registered intra day high and low at 35,424.27 and 35,264.19 points.
The Nifty recorded intra day high and low at 10,641.40 and 10,596.35.
The scrips like Tata Steel, Sun Pharma, Bajaj Auto and HeroMoto Corp eased while buying in Infosys, Powergrid, Reliance Industries and Maruti Suzuki capped from further losses, broker informed.
The losers were Sun Pharma by 6 pc to Rs 480, Tata Steel by 2.68 pc to Rs 516.85, Bajaj Auto by 2.09 pc to Rs 2596.70 and VEDL by 1.79 pc to Rs 192.35.
The gainers were Infosys by 1.80 pc to Rs 632.50, Powergrid by 1.49 pc to Rs 184.50, Reliance Industries by 1.12 pc to Rs 1122 and Maruti Suzuki by 0.68 pc to Rs 7585. (UNI)
