Mumbai, Nov 22: The benchmark index of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Thursday recovered by 68 points to 35,268 in early trade on fresh buying in Consumer Discretionary Goods and Services, FMCG, industrial and telecom socks.
The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) too rose by 19.80 points to 10,619.85. Sliding by 274 points yesterday, the BSE Sensex went up today as buying was seen in FMCG, Industiral, IT and Telecom stocks.
The scrips that advanced were TCS by 1.48 pc to rs 1838.50, AdaniPorts by 1.34 pc to rs 365.75, ONGC by 0.92 pc to rs 153.15 and L & T by 0.82 pc to rs 1414.
The scrips that slipped were Tata Steel by 1.39 pc to rs 544.85, Coal India by 1.09 pc to rs 2581 and M & M by 0.78 pc to rs Rs 763.(UNI)
