Mumbai, Nov 6: The benchmark index of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Tuesday recovered by 125.96 points to touch 35,076.88 on brisk buying in auto, banking, IT and metal stocks amid fresh foreign fund inflows and encouraging corporate earnings.
The Nifty too advanced by 33.20 points to 10,557.20. The Sensex registered intra-day high and low at 35,196.28.03 and 35,018.13 points respectively. The Nifty registered day high and low at 10,600.25 and 10,539.35 respectively.
The gainers were TatamotorDvr by 4.17 per cent to Rs 106.25, Tata motors 3.80 per cent to Rs 197.00, Yes Bank by 3.16 per cent to Rs 217.00, TCS by 2.15 per cent to Rs 1930.65 and Sun Pharma by 2.04 per cent to Rs 584.30.
The losers were Axis Bank by 3.10 per cent to Rs 04.95, IndusindBnk by 2.13 per cent to Rs 1466.00, SBIN by 1.66 per cent Rs 290.40, ITc by 0.64 per cent to Rs 277.80 and M&M by 0.59 per cent to Rs 772.90. (UNI)
