Bengaluru, Sep 3: Shell India is planning to invest Rs.15,000 crore over the next decade to set up 1200 fuel stations across the station, Shell Companies in India chairman Nitin Prasad said today.
Speaking to newsmen at the Shell Technology Centre, at the Hardware technology park, 25 km from here he said that land has already been identified for 150 such stations. The Company which already has 120 petrol pumps across the country would add 100 to 150 outlets a year over the next few years.
Referring to the Research and Development and Technology centre here he said that the facility had a capacity to provide employment to 1500 people and currently 1000 were actively involved in carrying out Research and Development to Shell Companies worldwide.
It is playing a dominant role in the global scene and some more important projects would be added shortly. (UNI)
