Cygnett Hotels & Resorts, a chain of hotels and resorts in India, which on Friday inaugurated its first hotel in Gujarat near Pilgrim city of Dwarka will start six more hotels in the state by 2019 including the one at Somnath, the CEO of the asset light hotel management group (Cygnett) Alok Verma said in Ahmedabad.
He said that the group would start hotels in Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Rajkot, Surat, Somnath and somewhere near Gir sanctuary by 2019.
''The 48 key hotel at Dwarka, Cygnett Inn was overall our 12th hotel across the country. We are the fastest growing asset light hotel management group (does not own the hotel property but just manage it) to have started so many hotels in just a period of 4 years since our inception. Recently we have achieved the milestone of being the first prominent group to start a hotel in Arunachal Pradesh capital Itanagar,'' he added.
He said the group now want to start hotels in all the major cities of Gujarat as well as the other important pilgrimage center of Somnath and in the vicinity of Gir famous for its Asiatic lions.
