Patna, June 7 : Exuding confidence in the leadership of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, former President of Bharatiya Janata Party ( BJP) and Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday claimed that the NDA would again form government in Bihar with two-thirds majority under the leadership of Mr Kumar.
Addressing Bihar jansamvad, a virtual rally organised digitally due to covid-19 pandemic, Mr Shah commended the governance of Mr Kumar saying that the state has progressed remarkably under his regime and liberating from 'lantern age' moved to 'LED era.' Mr Shah also shared development and growth related data of Bihar saying that the growth rate of Bihar was 3.9 percent during RJD rule which increased to 11.3 percent under the leadership of Mr Kumar.
In a satirical vein, the BJP leader without taking name of any political party or leader said that some people welcomed BJPs' virtual rally by clanging utensils. In the same vein Mr Shah further maintained that he was glad that they finally heard the Prime Minister's appeal to show gratitude towards the coronavirus warriors. Earlier RJD, the main opposition party protesting against the BJP's virtual rally had clanged thali during the day. (UNI)
