Patna, May 21 : With 28 more Coronavirus cases coming to light on Thursday, the total number of cases increased to 1,900 in Bihar. According to the State Health Department, of the fresh cases, 12 were found in East Champaran, followed by eight in Begusarai, two each in Madhubani, Supaul and West Champaran while one each in Patna, Banka and Purnea. Only one patient among the fresh ones was female.
The new cases were in between 17 to 65 years of age group. Their infection trail was being ascertained, informing the sources close to the department. Prior to this, 96 new Coronavirus positive cases were recorded, of which 19 were reported from Katihar, 18 from Rohtas, 17 from Gopalganj, 16 from Samastipur, nine from Lakhisarai, eight from Sheikhpura, five from Purnea, three from Munger while one from Khagaria.
