18 new cases of Coronavirus in Bihar, tally reaches to 629

Patna, May 10 : With 18 new cases coming to light, the total number of Coronavirus positive cases increased to 629 in Bihar so far. Principal Health Secretary Sanjay Kumar said here today that of the 18 cases Saharsa and Madhepura reported seven each , two were reported from Darbhanga and one each from Begusarai and Araria.

All the new infected persons were male. Giving details of Saharsa he said that 5 cases of 14, 18 ,19 ,13 and 18 came to light at Saharsa Basti whereas a 25 year old youth was found to be coronavirus positive at Madanpur. According to him, of the seven cases reported from Madhepura 6 were from Puraini and one from Ghailadah. In Puraini the cases found were of 18, 20, 17, 10 ,13 and 15 years of age while in Ghailadah a 16 year old boy was found to be infected.

He said that a 30 year old youth was found to be positive at Alinagar and a 45 year old person tested positive at Gaurabauram in Darbhanga district. He said that a 53 year old person was reported to be positive at Mohammadpur in Begusarai while a 30 year old male was detected to be positive at Raniganj in Araria district. Mr Kumar said that the defection trail of the persons where being ascertained. The report of these people poured in late last night. (UNI)
