Patna, Feb 13: Expressing deep sorrow over the bus accident near Bhadan village adjoining the borders of Firozabad-Etawah on Agra-Lucknow Expressway in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar announced an ex-gratia of Rs two lakh each to the kith of those killed in the accident belonging to Bihar.
Mr Kumar also announced to give Rs 50,000 for treatment to each of those Bihari injured in the accident. He said here that the ex-gratia would be given from the Chief Ministers’ relief fund. Mr Kumar said that the Resident commissioner of Bihar in Delhi had been directed to visit the spot make suitable arrangements for treatment of those belonging to Bihar and injured in the accident. In his condolence message, Mr Kumar prayed for speedy recovery of those injured in the accident. It may be recalled that 14 people were killed and 31 others injured in a collision between a bus and a trailer on Agra-Lucknow Expressway during wee hours. The bus was on way to Motihari from Delhi.
