Patna, Jan 31: Former Union Minister and senior RJD leader Raghuvansh Prasad Singh today appreciated the expelled JD(U) leader and poll strategist Prashant Kishor for opposing CAA while he was in the party.
Mr Singh, after a meeting with state president of RJD Jagadanand Singh, told media persons here that Mr Kishor had strongly opposed CAA while he was in JD(U) and that was the reason behind his expulsion from the party.
It was time for all leaders of anti BJP parties to come on the same platform to check unbridled rise of saffron forces in the country which posed a serious threat to its unity and integrity, he noted.
"Today I met state RJD president and talked about measures to be taken for strengthening the party in view of Bihar assembly elections to be held in October-November this year," Mr Singh said, adding that workers of the party were its assets and they should be respected at any cost. (UNI)
