Patna, Jan 12 : Grand Alliance will disintegrate over the growing differences on seat sharing and leadership issues in the upcoming Bihar assembly elections, the BJP has claimed.
Bihar Health Minister and senior BJP leader Mangal Pandy said here on Sunday that Congress, had been surviving in the state on the crutches of RJD, but was pointing fingers at the leadership and was even trying to maintain a distance from the alliance.
Mr Pandey said that RJD President Lalu Yadav and his son Tejasvi Yadav were not a comfortable choice for Congress as it was in no mood to accept their leadership. He said that the Grand Alliance was on the brink of disintegration as the allies were not ready to accept the leadership of RJD. Mr Pandey said that RJD was facing a turmoil as its leaders were dissatisfied with the autocratic style of functioning of RJD supremo. Several leaders and MLAs of RJD were also against Tejasvi Yadav’s leadership, he added. (UNI)
