Samastipur, Nov 8: Newly elected president of Bihar Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) and MP from Samastipur Prince Raj today asserted that NDA would enter the fray in 2020 Bihar assembly election under the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and return to power by getting more than two third majority.
Mr Raj told newspersons here that NDA had emerged stronger in Bihar in due course of time while opposition parties including Congress and RJD had lost their credibility.
He claimed that NDA candidates would win more than two third seats in the next state assembly election and form government under the leadership of JD (U) president Mr Kumar once again.
Mr Raj in his maiden visit to Samastipur, after winning Lok Sabha election, said that LJP`s organisational base in Bihar and other states would be expanded and special focus would be given to attract youths to the party under the leadership of newly appointed president of LJP and party MP from Jamui Chirag Paswan.
“Youth power is like the party’s backbone,” he remarked emphasising the need for launching people awareness programme and apprising the common masses of the achievements of the Centre and the state government ahead of the state assembly election.
LJP MP Ramnath Thakur, former MP Ashwamedh Devi and other party leaders were present on the occasion. (UNI)
