Patna, Oct 9: Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today gave necessary directions to senior most officers for prevention and treatment of Dengue breaking out in the state capital in the aftermath of incessant rainfall and subsequent water logging and also flood wreaking havoc in various districts of the state.
Mr Kumar directed chief secretary Deepak Kumar and principal secretary (health department) Sanjay Kumar to take all necessary measures for prevention and treatment of dengue across the state.
As it is, at least 640 people are suffering from dengue in the state capital. The number of patients had crossed over 1,000 across the state. (UNI)
