Patna, Oct 4 : Union Minister and senior BJP leader Giriraj Singh today laid the blame for water logging in various localities of the state capital following incessant rainfall on Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and his deputy Sushil Kumar Modi.
Mr Singh in his official Twitter account said, “Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi are responsible for the damage caused by rainfall.” He also by taking a dig at the state government said relief materials should not be distributed on the status of victims.
Mr Singh, also BJP MP from Begusarai had held NDA government responsible last Wednesday for water logging in various localities of the state capital following incessant rainfall. He had said only nature could not be held responsible for such a pitiable condition asserting it was the consequence of gross negligence of system and administration. Government had alerted people on heavy rainfall but could not make preparation for flushing out water from various localities of the state capital, he had stated. “It is my inner pain,” he remarked.
