Patna, Sept 02: Bihar Health Minister and senior BJP leader Mangal Pandey today accused RJD leader Tejaswi Prasad Yadav of indulging in political gimmick by sharing public concern sensing that next assembly elections was fast approaching while he was in deep slumber for several weeks till a few days back and even registered only his symbolic presence in month long Monsoon session of Bihar Assembly.

Mr Pandey said that Mr Yadav was holding the position of leader of the opposition in Bihar assembly but he did not bother to shoulder his responsibility in the House during its one month long Monsoon session. No example was visible in any state across the country where the leader of the opposition remained absent for so long from House during its session, he pointed out.

"Mr Yadav is virtually unemployed and he has nothing to do now a days that is why he sometimes becomes visible in giving discourse in Jharkhand or in Bihar", Mr Pandey said adding that Mr Yadav should first make himself updated on issues about which he was seen giving sermons. Mr Yadav should first explain how his sister and brother-in-law amassed 125 undeclared assets while he himself amassed 52 assets even though his age was only 29 years, he pointed out.

BJP leader said that RJD chief Lalu Prasad, father of Mr Yadav had turned abduction into cottage industry during his tenure of Chief Minister of Bihar in nineties while the same situation continued to prevail in the state till 2005 when his mother Rabri Devi was the Chief Minister. Similarly, people had not forgotten the black days of Mr Prasad forcing people to hand over their assets to him in lieu of extending favours to them in getting jobs and political positions, he stated.
