Patna, Aug 29: Leader of Opposition in Bihar Assembly Tejaswi Yadav today accused the state administration of bowing completely before the government forgetting its duty and responsibility.
Mr Yadav said here that government as well as police had lost their credibility on the issue of law and order as nearly 50 people on an average were getting killed in the state every day. He said police had confined it to proving its utility by acting like a minion or pawn in the ‘dirty’ politics of ruling parties.
Taking a dig at additional police superintendent of Barh Lipi Singh by reaching Saket court in New Delhi on official vehicle of an MP, Mr Yadav said that officers of Bihar were travelling on vehicles of ruling parties and criminals on official vehicles. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was issuing passes for the entry of murderers, rapists and
liquor mafia into his residence and what would be the morale of police force in such a situation, he added.
RJD leader said people of Bihar were spending their entire day in fear of criminals. He said that leaders and workers of the ruling party were smuggling liquor by pasting stickers of police on their vehicles and carrying flags of their party on them. Leader of Opposition alleged a minister of ruling party was involved in sexual exploitation of inmates at Muzaffarpur`s short stay home. He said similarly 30 children were trampled by another leader of ruling party. Criminals
were spraying bullets on businessmen and women on their protest against their loot and eve teasing bid.
Sharpening his attack on chief minister Mr Kumar, Mr Yadav said, “Bureau Chief Nitish Kumar is unfazed on the strength of media editing, people would not know the reality. If chief minister is unable to check crime and if he is left with any morality, he should immediately resign from his post and should liberate people from his politics bereft of any principle and crime growing under the patronage of power”.(UNI)
