Rajgir, June 2: Two people including a police officer were killed following a collision between two pickup vans in the Ekangarsarai police station area in Nalanda district, Bihar, in the wee hours of Sunday.
Police said that pick-up van driver Sanjeet Rai was killed on the spot. He lost control of his vehicle that rammed into a shop after hitting police sub-inspector Ashok Paswan (41).
Sources said the mishap took place when the pickup van collided with another van at Ekangarsarai roundabout.Police said Paswan who sustained serious injuries in the mishap was admitted to a local hospital where he died.The deceased pickup van driver was a native of Bidupur in Vaishali district.
