Samastipur, Apr 27: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today exhorted the people to extend their support to NDA in ongoing Lok Sabha elections, saying NDA government is essential to make India a safe, secured and strong nation.
Kumar, at an election meeting here in favour of NDA candidates for Lok Sabha elections, said the Modi Government had worked hard to ensure benefits to poor of various government schemes during the last five years. The present regime at the Centre had also taken stern action to curb terrorism which made India proud on world fora, he added.
"Bihar is moving on a fast track of development with assistance from the Centre under the present regime", Chief Minister said, adding that faith of the common man had increased for NDA government in Bihar and at the Centre. The agriculture road map was prepared and it was being executed in Bihar which helped farmers in increasing their income, he remarked.
Kumar said the Centre had provided huge funds to Bihar for improving infrastructural facilities like roads and bridges in the state. Several mega projects had already been completed in the infrastructure sector while others were in various stages of completion, he stated. (UNI)
