Patna, Apr 3: Leader of Opposition in Bihar Assembly Tejaswi Yadav today launched a blistering attack on Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) chief and union minister Ram Vilas Paswan after his brother Ramchandra Paswan was found accepting expenditure of hefty sum in his last election.
Taking to his official Twitter account to fire a fresh salvo at Mr Paswan, Mr Yadav said, “LJP parliamentary board chairman Chirag Paswan and union minister Ram Vilas Paswan should tell from where MP Ramchandra Paswan collected Rs 50 crore. This sir (Ramchandra Paswan) had won his seat by a margin of mere 6000 votes in alleged Modi wave in 2014, whether the victory was made possible due to expenditure of Rs 50 crore?”
Mr Yadav said, “Paswan family members are going to be defeated in all three seats in this Lok Sabha election” and took a dig at the union minister by saying Mr Paswan did not find any Dalit for fielding in the election other than his family members.'' As it is, Ramchandra Paswan was caught in a private news channel`s sting operation accepting that his party had spent a total sum of Rs 50 crore in those constituencies where LJP had fielded candidates in 2014 Lok Sabha election. In last Lok Sabha election, LJP leader Ramchandra Paswan had defeated Congress candidate Dr Ashok Kumar in Samastipur Lok Sabha constituency. (UNI)
