Patna, Apr 3 : RJD chief Lalu Prasad’s elder son and party MLA from Mahua Tej Pratap Yadav lodged a written complaint at Sachivalaya police station in the state capital last night after his private assistant (PA) received a call threatening to kill him.
Mr Yadav said that his PA Srijan Swaraj received a call from a person on his mobile phone yesterday. He said that the caller identifying himself as president of youth wing of RJD and a resident of Goh in Aurangabad district threatened to kill him and his PA.

MLA Mr Yadav said that his PA possessed the recording of the phone call to request the police to investigate the matter promptly as it was a serious matter.

Six days back, RJD leader Tej Pratap Yadav, the elder son of party president Lalu Prasad, resigned as the 'sanrakshak' (mentor) of the party's students wing. After the resignation he tweeted:"I am resigning from the post of Chhatra Rashtriya Janata Dal Sanrakshak. Those who think I am ignorant are ignorant themselves. I am well aware of who is worth what." The sudden development comes as a major embarrassment to the party which has been beset by speculations of fierce rivalry between Tej Pratap and his younger brother Tejashwi Yadav. UNI
