Patna, Mar 28: Apparently irked over denial of party tickets to his favourite candidates, RJD leader Tej Pratap Yadav, elder son of party chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, today resigned as patron of students' wing of his party, creating an uneasy situation when his younger brother is struggling hard to keep Grand Alliance intact.
Mr Yadav announced his resignation as patron of students' wing of RJD by posting on his facebook account and tried to give enough indication of his anger saying those were innocents, who were treating him as innocent. He was well aware of the fact about strength of leaders of the party, he remarked.
Mr Tejaswi Prasad Yadav, younger brother of Tej Pratap, is calling the shot for RJD and he is engaged in intense talks with other constituents of Grand Alliance over seat sharing.
Mr Tej Pratap is apparently annoyed on being sidelined in negotiation with other allies of RJD and also ignoring the claim of tickets of candidates who are his strong supporters. (UNI)
