Ranchi, Jan 25 : The Jharkhand High Court today gave breather to former Bihar chief secretary Anjani Kumar Singh in a fodder scam case by cancelling the order of a special CBU court in the Fodder Scam case number RC38A/96 which was related to fraudulent of Rs 3.76 crore from the Dumka treasury of unified Bihar in the 1990s.
The court of justice Apresh Kumar Singh cancelled the order of the CBI court which had ordered to issue summon to Mr Singh for making him an accused in the case. The court of special CBI judge Shivpal Singh on March 6, 2018 had ordered summon to Mr Singh to appear before the court in the case which was challenged by him.
At that time, Mr Singh was DC Dumka during which between December 95 to January 96 a sum of Rs 3.76 crore was taken out fraudulently from the Dumka Treasury. (UNI)
