RJD releases list of JD (U) leaders occupying official residences ‘illegally’

Patna, Dec 05: Amid controversy over the government`s attempt to vacate the official residence of leader of opposition Tejaswi Yadav, RJD today released a list of JD (U) leaders allegedly occupying official residences meant for ministers in an illegal manner.

In the list, RJD not only listed names of JD (U) leaders ‘illegally’ occupying the official residences meant for ministers but also disclosed how leaders of ruling party were using these residences.

According to the list, several sitting JD (U) MLAs and MLCs and also former JD (U) MLCs are occupying the official residences meant for ministers.

JD (U) MLA Lesi Singh is occupying official residence meant for a minister at 15, Circular Road. Another MLA Narendra Narayan Yadav is occupying the official residence of same status at 9, Daroga Rai Path, MLA Ranju Geeta at 4 M-Strand Road and MLA Umesh Singh Kushwaha at 9, Off Polo Road.

Similarly, JD (U) chief spokesperson and former MLC Sanjay Singh is ‘illegally’ occupying official residence meant for minister at 8, Strand Road and former MLC Sanjay Jha at Taylor Road, according to RJD list.

It has also been alleged that the official residence at 36, Harding Road has been allotted to JD (U) MLC Ranveer Nandan but state JD (U) president and Rajya Sabha MP Bashishth Narayan Singh is living in the residence. Similarly, the official residence at 7, Strand Road which was allotted to MLC Sanjay Singh alias Gandhi Ji but JD (U) Rajya Sabha MP and party general secretary R C P Singh is living in the residence.

The name of MLA Ashok Chaudhary, who had left Congress to join JD (U) also figures in the list. (UNI)
