Patna, Aug 6: Patna High Court today accepted the state government`s request for monitoring ongoing CBI probe into rapes of girls at Muzaffarpur`s short stay home in Bihar.
A division bench of Patna High Court comprising chief justice Rajendra Menon and Justice Rajeev Ranjan Prasad accepted the state government`s request for the monitoring of CBI probe into rapes of girls at Muzaffarpur`s short stay home.
The court also accepted the government`s request for creating a fast track court so the accused in the case could be punished as early as possible. The High Court sent a notice to CBI in this regard and ordered that the next hearing of the case would be held after two weeks. (UNI)
