Guwahati, Apr 9: About five out of total 28 COVID 19 patients of Assam are likely to be discharged from hospitals tomorrow, state Health Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma said today.
He said, "We are hopeful that about 4-5 patients who had tested positive for COVID 19 will be discharged tomorrow. Doctors have indicated that it could be possible to discharge
them, but we will know for sure later." The minister further said one of the COVID 19 patient at Silchar Medical College and
Hospital is in a critical condition.
He informed that 75,000 people quarantined in the state in the first batch will complete their isolation period tonight and after health check up, about 70,000 people are likely to be discharged. (UNI)
