Itanagar, Jun 9 : A COVID-19 positive patient was discharged from the Covid Care Centre after tested negative twice, Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu said on Tuesday.
With the release of the COVID-19 positive patient following his recovery, total active cases in Arunachal stand at 55. Arunachal Pradesh reported 57 COVID-19 cases so far out of which two were discharged including the state's first patient from Tezu hospital on April 17. "Glad to share that Covid19 positive from Pakke (Pakke Kesang) has recovered and tested consecutive two negative.
He is being discharged from Covid Care Centre for 14 days home quarantine," Khandu wrote in a social media post. As per bulletin issued by the Directorate of Health Services las night, a total of 12012 samples have been collected so far in the state out of which 10376 tested negative and results of 155 are yet to come.
