New Delhi, May 29: In the freedom fight, everyone took part without any religious discrimination and sacrificed their lives.
The freedom fighters faced the torture of the prison and received bullets on their chests. Therefore, the new generation should know the sacrifices of their ancestors and the history of the country.
This idea was stated by Dr Sheikh Akeel Ahmed, Director, National Council for Promotion of Urdu Language (NCPUL), on the publication of monthly magazine 'Bachon ki duniya', on the completion of 100 years of the incident of Jallianwala Bagh here on Wednesday.
He said through the monthly magazine of 'Bachon ki duniya', the Urdu Council wants to create a sense of sacrifice for the country and at the same time wants to link children to the history of their country, so that every child can get acquainted with the history of the country and the sacrifices of their leaders.
Ahmad said that on April 13, 1919 many citizens of the country had sacrificed their lives in Jallianwala Bagh in Amritsar, their sacrifice has become a message for the upcoming generations that the security and construction of the country are paramount.
