TTD to discuss on resuming Srivari darshan

Tirupati, May 11: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD ) Executive Officer Anil Kumar Singhal said a decision to resume Srivari darshan in Tirumala will be taken in a high-level meeting with Additional EO soon if there is relaxation in the COVID-19 lockdown. Mr Singhal has instructed the officials to speed up the refunds to devotees who sought after the cancellation of their Arjita Seva tickets from March 14 to May 31 in the background of Coronavirus lockdown.

He held a maiden video conference with Senior TTD officials from his chambers in the TTD administrative building here on Monday. Of the 2,50,503 devotees who sought refunds so far (which constitutes 45 per cent of the total bookings) refunds have been credited to 1,93,588 devotees registered accounts with requisite due amounts.

The Executive Officer instructed the concerned officials to make the remaining payments also at a faster pace. In the conference, the advanced mobile app for SRIVANI Trust, paperless audit, PR management system, Vigilance Complaints and Tracking system, e-Payments Integration, Students Admission Management System and Lease Rental Management System was reviewed.
