Mar 27 (UNI) Infrastructure major, Megha Engineering and Infrastructure Limited (MEIL) on Friday donated Rs 5 crore to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister's Relief Fund and has been in the forefront to offer a helping hand in various states in the battle against coronavirus. MEIL Managing Director P V Krishnareddy, today, met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and handed over a cheque of Rs 5 crores.
Similarly, MEIL also donated funds to Karnataka and Odhisha states. Mr Sudhir Mohan, Head Karnataka region operations, MEIL met Chief Minister Yeddyurappa and handed over a cheque of Rs 2 crores. At the same time MEIL Vice President, Mr Rangarajan handed over the cheque of Rs 1 crore to the chief minister of Odhisha. The company has announced that it will contribute donations to some more states, a company statement here said. (UNI)
