Vijayawada, Feb 17 : Communist Party of India (CPI) Andhra Pradesh Unit has sought the details of the memorandum Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy had submitted to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Ministers under the Right to Information (RTI) Act. CPI State Secretary K Rama Krishna sought the details of the memorandum, which Chief Minister Mr Reddy had submitted to Mr Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and Law Minister under RTI Act 2005, Section 6 (1).
The CPI leader sought the information of the memorandum, which the Chief Minister submitted to the Prime Minister, in Telugu language under section (4) after confirming officially the same under section 2 (J) ii. It may be mentioned here that the Chief Minister met Prime Minister, Home Minister and Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad during his Delhi visits on February 12 and 14.
Mr Reddy's Delhi visit triggered a war of words between the Opposition and the ruling YSRCP. The Opposition parties including the TDP and Left alleged that the Chief Minister met the Prime Minister and Home Minister only to discuss and ged rid of his corruption cases. (UNI)
