Nine-day brahmotsavam observed at Tirumala

Tirumala, Oct 7: Lord Malayappa Swamy portrayed Kalki Avatara on the Aswa Vahana Seva was observed on the eighth day evening in Tirumala on Monday.

During the nine-day brahmotsavam, Lord has taken a ride on 16 different carriers (including Swarna Ratham and Maha Ratham). The vahana sevas have come to an end with Aswa Vahanam.

Aswa Vahanam is known for its speed. On the speeding divine horse, the Ucchaishrava, Sri Malayappa in the guise of Kalki, holding the sword in one hand, marched along the four mada streets to bless His devotees. This implies, the Lord will save the world from the evil forces.

TTD EO Anil Kumar Singhal, Addl EO AV Dharma Reddy, CVSO Gopinath Jatti, ACVO Sivakumar Reddy, Temple DyEO Haridranath, Peishkar i Lokanadham and others took part. (UNI)
