Hyderabad, Sep 28 : City’s top corporate executive from Pheonix Group, a Infrastructure Development company, Srikanth Badiga has been unanimously re-elected for the third time as the Chairman of India American Chamber of Commerce, Andhra Pradesh & Telangana Chapter (IACC AP & TS) for the year 2019-20.
The other elected office bearers are -- Mr Vijaya Sai Meka ( first Vice-Chairman) and Dr Ramkumar Rudrabhatla ( Second Vice- Chairman) of the branch for the year 2019-20. The Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (IACC), established in 1968, is the apex bi-lateral Chamber synergizing India-US Economic Engagement.
Today, it has an overwhelming pan India presence with 2400 members, representing a cross section of US and Indian Industry. During his tenure as the IACC AP & TS Branch, Srikanth worked closely with Government of Telangana and US Consulate, Hyderabad. IACC worked strongly on Entrepreneurship and especially for Women and youth Entrepreneurship under his able guidance.
He has been playing a pivotal role in the Special Economic Zone sector by being on the panel of various central government panels and also on international panels. Srikanth is on various committees and industrial bodies such as Board of Director - Asia, on World Free Zones Organization. He is a Member, Baba Kalyani Committee on SEZs and Advisor and Member, Central Governing Council, EPCES.
He is an Advisor to TITA - where he helps promote IT Development in Telangana State. TITA is Non-Profit & Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) working for welfare of Telangana IT Students, IT Employees & IT Employers. (UNI)
