MLAs Suspension: TDP legislators go to Assembly in Rally

Amaravati, Jul 25 : Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MLAs and MLCs, led by former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu took out a rally to the Legislative Assembly from the Secretariat in protest against the suspension of three of its members.The MLAs, MLCs holding placards raised slogans demanding revocation of the suspension.

Talking to the media, Mr Naidu said that the TDP members went to Assembly in a rally in protest against the arbitrary attitude of Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy headed YSRCP government.He alleged that the government is acting 'highhandedly' in the Assembly and the TDP members are not being allowed to speak. “This agitation of the TDP against the YSRCP government is only the beginning. We will intensify our battle against the government in the coming days” Mr Naidu, also the Leader of the Opposition, said.

TDP deputy floor leader in the Assembly Rama Naidu slammed that the Assembly was made as a “Lotus Pond” (Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy’s residence in Hyderabad). Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy is dictating and the Assembly Speaker is following, he flayed. “Speaker T Sitaram muzzled our voice by suspending three of our party MLAs from the Assembly for the rest of the session” he charged.UNI
