Hyderabad, June 9: Andhra Pradesh boy K Ravi Sri Teja has secured top rank in the Telangana engineering, agriculture and medical common entrance test (EAMCET) results announced here on Sunday by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU).
The results were released by TSCHE Chairman Prof T Papireddy, JNTU Vice-Chancellor Venu Gopal Reddy and EAMCET Convenor N Yadaiah.
Teja got 150.80 marks while the second and third ranks were got by the Hyderabad boys B Chandra Sekhara and G Akash Reddy with 148.77 and 145.50 respectively. The pass percentage of engineering is 82.47 per cent.
In agriculture and medical stream, Kushwanth from Telangana has secured top rank with 155.97 marks while second and third position occupied by AP boys- D Kiran Kumar Reddy and M Venkata Sai Arun Teja with 153.23 and 153.01 marks respectively.
In engineering stream , two Andhra boys secured in top 5 ranks while in Agriculture stream , three AP boys and two from Telangana secured among top 5 ranks.
This year , over 2.17 lakh candidates registered for the Telangana EAMCET, 1.42 lakh appeared for the engineering test,74,981 for the Agriculture and pharmacy exam while 235 candidates appeared for both which was conducted from May 3,2019.
The exam for the engineering stream was held between May 3 and May 6 while for agriculture and pharmacy stream was conducted on May 8 and May 9.
