Vijayawada, Mar 28 : Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal appealed to voters of Andhra Pradesh to elect the Telugu Desam party candidates in the elections and make Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to play a vital role in the formation a non-BJP government at the Centre.
Addressing an election at Vinukonda in Krishna district along with Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday, he asked people to ensure that Chandrababu Naidu would play vital role in national politics and leading non-BJP parties by voting for the TDP in the elections.
Mr Kejriwal said that it has time to remove Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Delhi Chief Minister said that AP has progressed well under the leadership of Chandrababu Naidu. He said that voting for the opposition YSRCP is amounted to voting for the BJP as Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy colluded with the BJP.
Earlier, addressing a North Indians meeting here on Thursday, the Delhi Chief Minister said that Chandrababu Naidu and he are playing a vital role in bringing non-BJP parties into one platform. He said that the demonetization badly damaged industries and business in the country.
The small and medium businessmen worst sufferers of demonetization and GST, he regretted.
Mr Kejriwal said that a modern Andhra Pradesh state should be constructed and Chandrababu Naidu is doing that, he lamented.
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said that the Modi led Central government ruined the national institutions like the CBI. The tussle between directors of CBI discredited the reputation and prestige of the CBI and he held Modi responsible for the bad state of affairs in the CBI.
Mr Naidu said that opposition leader Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy is accused in 31 offences but the Election Commissioner of India, based on the YSRCP’s complaint, transferred three IPS officers of AP. (UNI)
