Rjahmundry, Mar 14 : Blowing poll bugle, Janasena party president K Pawan Kalyan on Thursday announced slew of welfare schemes as election promises and assured to implement them, if voted to power.
Addressing a huge public meeting, organised on the occasion of 5 th formation day of Janasena party here, he released the party's election manifesto in which he announced to provide Rs 8,000 per acre as input subsidy, to link rivers and construct new reservoirs, to the farmers and pension of Rs 5000 per month to the farmers above 60 years of age.
He also announced to provide solar motors at free of cost to the farmers, free education from first standard to PG, if voted to power. He assured to create Ministry of Fisheries and Fisheries Development Bank to for fishermen
“I assured to produce one lakh jobs within six months of assuming power and 10 lakh jobs during the five years”, he said. He also assured to revoke Contributory Pension Scheme for employees, provide 33 per cent reservation in legislative houses to women.
He alleged that the sand mafias and Janmabhoomi committees are plundering the wealth of the state and corruption is rampant in the state. He slammed that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is extending patronage to the corrupted leaders.
“I have given up my lucrative film carrier to give a bright future. I entered politics when I was enjoying stardom in film industry in order to bring change in society. I do not have a wish of earning huge money” he said. He regretted that he is being abused by opposition party leaders personally. He claimed that he had no personal enmity either with Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu or YSRCP president Jagan Mohan Reddy. (UNI)
