Amaravati, Mar 13: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and Telugu Desam party national president N Chandrababu Naidu alleged that opposition leader and YSRCP President Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy is being controlled by Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, he said that the Directorate of Enforcement Director Karnal Singh wrote a letter on May 31, 2017 to CBI Director Alok Varma highlighting the flaws in the investigation of corruption cases of Jagan Mohan Reddy. But no action was initiated by the CBI, he said.
“On the fear of going to prison in corruption cases, Jagan Mohan Reddy is playing to the tunes of K Chandrasekhar Rao and Narendra Modi” he charged.
Mr Naidu slammed that Telangana Chief Minister and Narendra modi are trying to make Swarnadhra Pradesh into Scamandhra Pradesh.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi claimed that he is a Chowkidar of the country. But he is Chowkidar only to corrupted leaders like Jagan Reddy” he lashed out.
Referring the speculation that former CBI Joint Director Lakshminarayana is joining the TDP, the Chief Minister asked what is wrong if he joins the TDP. He has resigned his job and has the right to join any political party, Mr. Naidu said.UNI
