Hyderabad, Feb 25 : The sleuths of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) caught red-handed an Inspector of Police (CI) on Monday when he was accepting bribe amount of Rs 30,000.
Ch Jithender Reddy, Detective Inspector, Hayathnagar Police Station, Rachakonda Commissionerate was caught at Hayathnagar Police Station when he demanded and accepted the bribe amount of Rs.30,000 from the complainant Rekha Sagar, a resident of Chalma Reddyguda village, Nalgonda District to settle the issue in respect of the complaint lodged against complainant's brother-in-law Nagaraju, a ACB statement here said.
Bribe amount Rs.30,000 was recovered from his possession. The accused officer was being arrested and produced before the Special Judge for SPE and ACB cases here. (UNI)
