Vijayawada, Feb 10: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu took strong exception to the remarks made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi against him at a public meeting in Yetukuru village earlier in the day and addressed the latter as Jashodaben’s husband.
Addressing a meeting here on Sunday, the Chief Minister, who worn black shirt and protested against Prime Minister’s AP visit, said Mr Modi had abused him personally.
“The Prime Minister addressed me as Lokesh’s son in a ridiculous manner. Lokesh is my son. I have family and I have family relations. I give important to the institution of family” he said.
“Mr.Narendra Modi has wife and her name is Jashodaben. Now I address Mr Modi as “Joshodaben’s husband.
Mr Modi enacted legislation on Triple Talaq but what did he do to his wife”, the Chief Minister asked, adding that did Mr Modi did not divorce his wife ?
The Chief Minister described Mr Narendra Modi’s demonetization move as a Tughlaq act.
Referring to the Prime Minister’s allegation that AP is not showing accounts for funds, extended by the Centre, the Chief Minister said that there is a CAG and it would take care of accounts.
Referring to Modi’s comments on "Modi Go Back" banners, he said that the banners defines Modi Go back to Gujarat.
Referring to Mr Modi’s accusation against him (Naidu) for joining hands with the Congress, he said TDP founder N T Rama Rao fought against Congress-led Central government. Now he joined hands with the Congress party for the sake of the state.
Mr Naidu announced that he would go to Delhi tomorrow to organise 'Dharma Porata Deeksha' at AP Bhavan. (UNI)
