Amaravati, Feb 6 : Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party National President N Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday said except Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) President Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, almost all leaders from non-BJP parties have condemned the CBI’s attempt of entering the residence of Kolkata Police Commissioner Rajeev Kumar to question him in chit fund scam cases and extended solidarity to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banarjee who resorted to a dharna protesting against it.
Addressing party cadre through teleconference here, he said leaders from non-BJP parties responded and extended solidarity to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.However, Mr Chandrashekar Rao and Mr Reddy did not condemn the incident which clearly exposed their nexus with the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre.
Mr.Naidu took strong exception to the comments of Mr Reddy giving caste colour to police officials.
He said that the caste of the TDP is eradication of poverty and the party committed for the welfare of the poor, the Chief Minister said.
Referring to the vote-on-account AP budget, presented in the Assembly on Tuesday, he said that allocations were made to benefit all sections of people.(UNI)
