Hyderabad, Dec 1: Heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in the districts of Prakasham and Nellore of South Coastal Andhra Pradesh on December 5, Meteorological Department warned here on Saturday.
In the bulletin, it said that light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at isolated places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh on December four and five, while the same situation will prevail in Rayalaseema on December 5.
Dry weather is likely to occur in Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during the next five days except the above period, the bulletin said.
In Telangana, the highest maximum temperature of 33 degree Celsius was recorded at Mahabubnagar, while the lowest minimum temperature of 8 degree Celsius was recorded at Adilabad during the last 24 hours.
In Hyderabad, the maximum and minimum temperatures stood at 31 and 15 degrees Celsius, respectively.
In Andhra Pradesh, the maximum temperature of 32 degree Celsius was recorded at Masulipatnam, Ongole, Kurnool, Visakhapatnam and Nandyal, while the lowest minimum temperature of 17 degree Celsius was recorded at Jangamaheswarapuram and Anantapur.
In Vijayawada the maximum and minimum temperatures stood at 31 and 22 degree Celsius respectively, the bulletin added. (UNI)
