Amaravati, Nov 8 : Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu came down heavily on the Narendra Modi headed NDA government alleging that the failure of Centre led to depreciation of rupee and hike in petroleum prices.
The Chief Minister held a teleconference on “Gramadarshini” with the District Collectors, Nodal officers and other officials concerned here on Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion, he alleged that the freedom CBI and RBI was diluted while the IT and ED departments were being misused to harass the political rivals. The hike of diesel led to the sky rocketing of essential commodities, he flayed.
Alleging that insecurity and intolerance have gone up among the rulers at the Centre, he called upon the people to respond to protect the country and democracy. “The voters in Karnataka have given a clear verdict, reflecting the misrule of the Centre” Mr Naidu said.
The Chief Minister explained that AP is achieving progress despite the Centre’s non-cooperation. “Gramadarshini” is an excellent platform to explain the progress, The state has achieved so far is to the people and called upon officials to utilize the opportunity.
“AP disbursed compensation to the Titli cyclone affected victims within 25 days even though the Centre did not released the funds for the purpose. Now normalcy was restored in the Cyclone devastated districts”, Mr Naidu claimed.
The satisfaction levels of people on the government services had gone up to 77 per cent from 72 per cent, he said and directed the officials to strive hard to increase the satisfaction levels to 90 per cent by the end of January, 2019.
The development should reflect in the eyes of people, he said.
The Chief Minister said that plans were evolved for the development of 10,169 villages. (UNI)
