Visakhapatnam, Oct 10: The Cyclonic Storm 'TITLI' over west central Bay of Bengal moved north-northwestwards intensified into a severe cyclonic storm and lay centered at over West central Bay of Bengal near latitude 16.0 North and longitude 85.8 East, about 350 km south-southeast of Gopalpur (Odisha) and 300 km southeast of Kalingapatnam of Andhra Pradesh here on Wednesday.
According to Cyclone Warning Centre (CWC) spokesman here on Wednesday. It is very likely to intensify further into a very severe cyclonic storm during next 16 hours.
It is very likely to move north-northwestwards and cross Odisha and adjoining north Andhra Pradesh coasts between Gopalpur and Kalingapatnam tomorrow morning. Local cautionary signal number three (LC-III) was hoisted at Kalingapatnam, Bheemunipatnam, Visakhapatnam and Gangavaram ports.
Distant warning signal number two (DW-II) was hoisted at Machilipatnam, Nizampatnam and Krishnapatnam ports. Distant warning signal number two with section signal number two kept hoisted at Kakinada port. Informatory Message sent to Vadarevu port. (UNI)
