Visakhapatnam, Sep 19: Revolutionary leader, writer and feminist Kondapalli Koteswaramma passed away in this Port City on Wednesday.
She is suffering due to a brain haemorrhage since the last few weeks. Koteswaramma celebrated her 100th birthday recently. She is the wife of Kondapalli Seetharamaiah, the founder of People’s War Group (PWG) a Naxal outfit.
She played an active role in the Communist party and also involved in various women rights movements, marginalized sections, and civil rights. Born in Pamarru in Krishna district, she breathed her last at her grand daughter’s house in Visakhapatnam city.
The family members said that as per her wish, the body will be donated to Andhra Medical College (AMC). (UNI)
