The entire district of South Andaman was exempted from these relaxations on account of being a hotspot with new active cases. “The permitted activities are aimed at ensuring that employment opportunities are created for daily wage earners and other members of the labour force,” an official communication from Andaman Administration said here today. As per details under this, transportation of goods will be permitted within the Island without any distinction of essential or non-essential.
