A 70-year-old farmer committed suicide by consuming poison in the court premises at Jintur in Maharashtra  after not getting justice in a land measurement case.

According to police, the deceased, identified as Tukaram Javahar, hailing from Aasegaon village of Jintur taluka in the district, had applied for measurement of his land, but he did not get any response from the administration.
