Kuvempu's house 'Udayaravi' converted into Museum

The city of Palaces has also became a house of Museums and adds one more attraction to tourists by converting 'Udayaravi' the house of reknowned Rasthra Kavi late K V Puttappa popularly known as Kuvempu, into a museum.

The family of Kuvempu has given a green signal and the State Government has to take a final call.

It will be good news for the every one including many litterateurs and readers of Kannada literature who have been waiting for a long time to see ‘Udayaravi’ being taking the shape of a memorial and museum in this heritage city.

The house of famous English writer R K Narayan on Vivekananda Road at Yadavagiri in the city has already been converted into a museum and has been attracting a lot of literature lovers and Tourists.

According to sources in the Kannada and Culture Department, a proposal has been put forward before the State Government on the subject.
