Hari S Kartha, Jun 16, 2017

Kochi Metro's Rail Limited  (KMRL) is ready to execute on its own the second phase of the metro project, said Elias George, its Managing Director. He was reacting to the reported comment by Metro Man E. Sreedharan that KMRL was capable of handling the second stage of the metro project by themselves. The comment by Sreedharan comes as a glowing tribute to KMRL, stated Elias George.

Sreedharan had earlier disclosed that he would not be involved in the second phase and that KMRL could do it themselves. He added that he was happy that the first phase could be completed successfully. However he was unhappy that he could not  finish it in three years. But it took four years for completion, he pointed out.
