Karnataka Governor Vajubhai Vala has invited Yeddyurappa to prove majority in Assembly

A BJP delegation headed by Yeddyurappa called on the Governor and staked claims to form the government as the single largest party in the newly elected Karnataka elections.

Incidentally, the Governor had refused to meet President of the Karnataka Pradesh Committee, G.  Parameshwara, who went to Raj Bhavan to meet him on Tuesday afternoon. He also refused to meet D.K. Sivakumar who went meet the Governor at the Raj Bhavan with two independent MLAs. Later Kumaraswamy along with Siddaramaiah accompanied with elected members of the Congress [77], JDS [38] and independents [2] went to Raj Bhavan to prove their majority.

The JDS- Congress delegation wants to prove that they enjoy the majority by parading 117 MLAs and to communicate to the Governor that they can provide a stable government in the state.
